Kamala Harris Leads Donald Trump in Latest Reuters/Ipsos Pol   July 23 (Reuters) — Vice President Kamala Harris has gained a slight edge over Republican Donald Trump, leading 44% to 42% in the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll. This shift comes after President Joe Biden ended his re-election bid and endorsed Harris. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, reflecting a close race.   Prior to Biden’s exit, polls showed him trailing Trump by a similar margin. Despite the high-profile Republican National Convention and Biden’s endorsement, Trump’s support did not see a significant increase.   Voter perception highlights Harris as more "mentally sharp and able to handle challenges" than Trump, with 56% of respondents rating her favorably compared to 49% for Trump and just 22% for Biden.
