In the upcoming May release of a free DLC for Dave the Diver, the titular protagonist will face a new oceanic threat as Godzilla emerges from the depths. The Blue Hole, with its mysterious nature, proves to be a fitting setting for such encounters with the famous sea monster.
Although developer Mintrocket has not provided extensive details on Godzilla's role in the game, players are encouraged to "prepare to meet the King of the Monsters in the Blue Hole." The announcement trailer for Dave the Diver's PlayStation release concludes with the dramatic appearance of Godzilla.

On the PlayStation blog, a screenshot was unveiled featuring Dave on a fishing boat, observing Godzilla in the background as the colossal creature navigates the waters. Notably, Dave the Diver's introduction to PlayStation was disclosed during the recent State of Play event, revealing its launch on both PS4 and PS5 in April. The Godzilla DLC, slated for release across all platforms, is scheduled for May.
This collaboration with popular sea-themed content is not the first for Dave the Diver. In a December update, the Lovecraft-inspired fishing simulation, Dredge, joined forces with Dave the Diver, introducing additional enigmatic elements within the Blue Hole.
