Taylor Swift Scores First Rock Radio Hit with National Collaboration "The Alcott"

Taylor Swift has progressed from country to pop, and now she has a rock smash to her credit. Her duet with The National, "The Alcott," has recently debuted on the Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, marking her first entry on the chart.

According to Billboard, "The Alcott" debuted at No. 45 on the chart with 636,000 rock radio listener impressions. While Swift is making her first entry on the Rock & Alternative Airplay list, The National, whose album First Two Pages of Frankenstein contains the song, is making their sixth.

Swift has already charted on various rock-related lists. She's had four songs listed on Adult Alternative Airplay, including "Exile," which included Bon Iver, "Coney Island," another collaboration with The National, and "Snow on the Beach," which featured vocals from Lana Del Rey.

"The Alcott" isn't Swift's only song in the Billboard charts right now. "Anti-Hero" is presently No. 3 on Adult Pop Airplay and No. 2 on Adult Contemporary, while "Karma" is No. 2 on the Hot 100.

Swift, who recently ended her relationship with The 1975's Matty Healy after a brief courtship, has revealed Speak Now (Taylor's Version), a re-recording of her 2010 studio album with Fall Out Boy and Hayley Williams. More rock chart appearances likely to be in her future!
