Jennie of BLACKPINK is "doing her best to recover" after being forced to leave the stage mid-song during their Melbourne concert due to a "deteriorating condition."

On Sunday (11.06.23), the 27-year-old singer was playing with the group Down Under when she had to leave the event early and did not return for the rest of the show.

"Jennie was unable to complete the stage due to her deteriorating condition," YG Entertainment stated in a statement on the fan network Weverse.

"We would like to express our heartfelt regrets to all of the fans who have shown their support for Blackpink as well as those who attended the event." We respectfully beg for your patience in this matter.

"Jennie expressed her steadfast determination to finish the performance." However, after receiving medical advice on the spot, we quickly took steps to ensure she gets enough rest and stability.

"Jennie has expressed her regret for being unable to stay with the fans until the end, and she promises to recover as soon as possible."

Jennie can be seen stepping off stage while the band, which also includes Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo, is singing 'Lovesick Girls' in fan-captured footage.

Jennie has now apologized to followers and stated that she is doing everything she can to recover from the unknown health problem.

"Dear Melbourne Blinks, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to finish the show on Sunday," she said on her Instagram Story.

"Right now, I'm doing my best to recover." Your compassion and support mean the world to me.

"Thank you to everyone who came out to see us in Melbourne. "I adore you two."

BLACKPINK's 'Born Pink' world tour will continue in Sydney, with two sold-out gigs at the Qudos Bank Arena on Friday (16.06.23) and Saturday (17.06.23), before heading to Auckland, New Zealand, later this month.
