TayLor Swift's "The Eras Tour" Attendees Say They Have "Post-Concert Amnesia"

Taylor Swift packs a lot into one night, trying her best to justify the utter shambles that was the pre-sale for her "The Eras Tour." Despite the financial and emotional hardships, several Swifties claim to have suffered from "post-concert amnesia" following their various concerts on the tour.

Dr. Michelle Phillips, a senior lecturer in music psychology at Manchester's Royal Northern College of Music, told BBC that this is a common occurrence. It's quite simple for your brain to remove significant instances from your memory if you're so enthusiastic and involved in a highly stimulating atmosphere — say, a fantastic 40-song arena concert by one of history's biggest pop performers.

Fans aren't forgetting about the show: "In fact, it's likely to be one of the things they remember attending for the rest of their lives," Dr. Phillips said. "It's just that they remember some aspects of the event but not others."

With a 44-song lineup and various surprises, "The Eras Tour" undoubtedly has a lot of features to remember. So, to cut a long story short, if you've been suffering from post-Swift concert amnesia, it's fine if you don't necessarily — ahem — recall it all too well.

Swift just released a remix of "Karma" with Ice Spice, as well as an enhanced version of "Snow on the Beach" including even more guest vocals from Lana Del Rey, as part of the deluxe edition of her current album Midnights.
